I know in the past some of you have found good deals by shopping around, so as I'm looking for a new set of boots, can anyone recomend where to buy them from?
I need 235/70R16, unless I win the lottery and decide to fit 18" alloys :-k

I use www.blackcircles.com not bad prices and good service
-
I have yet to use them again since colway/greenway went bust but previously the guy at www.sowdentyres.co.uk has provided 3 sets of tyres to me with great helpful service and sorted out any problems without drama.

Just a thought.

I'm another Camskill lover!!
I had a set of 5 Cooper STT's delivered within 24 hours of my order and the price was much cheaper than I could get anywhere else.
Infact my local tyre place couldn't buy them through his supplier for the price I paid!!

Another vote for Mark Sowden, Ive had four or five sets from him plus a few as Ive ripped side walls out a couple of times, he looks after his regular customers A1 service and great prices.

Nene valley are a bit flakey, I wanted to buy some Khumo KL71's and I could not get through to them, it was either nobody answered the phone or the guy was ill.
So I bought them from a local dealer. They are the best tyres I have had so far.

I thought Nene Valley had gone bust.

Good point, I'm after some road biased ATs for the LSE, it eats BFG ATs because the tread moves around too much, it's a heavy car with a big engine, I also want branded tyres though I fancy a change form Good Years, it doesn't seem to like them (could just be me :-k).
So I'm thinking Cooper, Pirreli, BFG, general, that sort of thing.
Definitely NO REMOULDS

Try http://www.event-tyres.co.uk/, they are mobile and come to you. I got good price on BFG All terrains :)

I've just bought 3 Wheels and tyres with 6mm tread on them for just a tad more than one new tyre (8mm tread) from Ebay. These are for the MkIII rangie 18 Inch rims if you are thinking of using wheel adapters. There are bargains to be had, just got to look carefully.
Two of my current wheels have formed scabby paint so the newer wheels are a bonus!
These are Goodyear Wranglers. OE tyres for the model.
