As the title really....
Who do you use for European breakdown cover? Costs? Recommendations?
What about LR's 15 years & over (Mines 14) - who covers them?
-
Recently I've been covered by:
GEM at http://www.motoringassist.com/Breakdown-Cover/Carbefore (http://www.motoringassist.com/Breakdown-Cover/Carbefore) changing to Boncaster AutoAid at http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/roadside-recovery#pay (http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/insurance/roadside-recovery#pay)
Fortunately I've never needed to use either of them. Rather than standard breakdown cover these are insurance are you pay for the recovery before getting the money back.
Although I've never taken my Landy to Europe so don't know if they'd be any good overseas.

My 1972 series 3 has free european breakdown cover with the insurance (£165/year fully comp) the 1977 101 we got covered by the RAC.

Sounds good - I'll do some research.

It's the first sentence after the table.

I'll second the RAC too.
They recovered me ( and trailer) on saturday... one "load and drop" 102 miles, not like the bunny-hopping AA who only go as far as their own district borders.
Not too sure about Euro recovery as I haven't used them for it... but also have free cover with MoreThan.

More Than's breakdown cover is actually supplied by Europe Assistance at the moment.
-
i use http://www.autonational.co.uk/ . Not had to use them yet but nice and cheap.

RAC used to work with ADAC on mainland Europe.
I Never used it on mainland, but did use RAC once on
my ADAC membership, no problems.
Might be worth looking into.
