hi has anyone fitted any bucket seats as i,m going to be doing this very soon and some information would be great
thanks for any information in advance kev

Yep, very easy to do, just need to amke some adapeor plates to mount the new seats while allowing the plates to be bolted to where the originals came from.
Or, just drill new holes and fit them with strengthening plates as ive done

I fitted sport seats from a honda civic in mine and all i had to do was extend the runners with a piece of angle iron on each runner

I got some saab 9000 seats in mine. i just got some 5mm strips of steel and bolted the runners to them and bolted the strips in the original holes. works a treat. Only thing wrong with mine is the battery under the seat.
-
I combated the battery problem by running a new set of battery cables from the battery to an anderson plug on the outside of the seat box, now all i have to do is plug in my jump leads which have an anderson plug on also and away we go.
Quite an easy problem to solve.

iv fitted a recaro bucket from a proton gt on my drivers side, took the whole original seat, runners and belt out, cut a little spur of one of the mounts and it bolted straight in (almost). :D
