Hello everyone,
I'm a diesel hard diesel fan, generally 300tdi's and the like.
However the I'm begining to love the look of the P38 2000 ish models, now I want an automatic which believe most are.
I've been looking at the 4.6 HSE models but what spec should these come with, also are there any higher spec models and what kind of spec do these have?
Thanks in advance
I'm really looking forward to joing the comfortable elite.

Erm, aren't the 4.6HSEs the *PETROL* V8s?
I'm not that clued up on the P38a.... so striek me down if wrong, but it is definitely a very common Rover V8 size ;)

Yes that's what I meant, I suppose I constructed that sentance in an arse about way :)

Pre 2000 you had the SE and the HSE
HSE had all the bells and whistles, SE had cloth seats, no roof and no floor (only kidding !) generally just lower spec although all the HSE bits were optional extras so there may be some HSE bits on any motor you buy
After 2000 the flagship model was just badged as a vogue

DHSE is the top spec diesel 38a with everything on it.

Ive got a P38 4.6 hse(well its the wifes),and there isnt anything that it hasnt got,but a word of warning, when you test drive it MAKE SURE everything works, press every button and switch there is and dont touch one without fsh,and after you have done that,go over it again and check everything twice!! but they really are a lovely car to drive and im not a landy fan!!
