Title: Roof Bags
Post by: carbore on July 01, 2009, 11:09:26
Hello,

Can anyone recommend a good "budget" roof bag. Its going on my brownchurch safari rack on the Freelander when I go on Hoilday to France with the Family. It will only have the Pram and a few suitcases in so I can keep that "huge" Freelander boot free for the Duty free.

I don't need expedition quality, just something to keep the rain off/refugees out. Going on the ferry btw.

Hippo Bags seem ok????

I like to use small Dry barrel - canoe barrel,

cheap as chips and bomb proof.

Interesting and I just happen to be in Cheltenham area over the weekend (I was born there dont you know!)

Current thoughts are to use a big plastic bag as the safari rack will hold it on (with straps of course) something like a survival bag.
