You heretic!
The SuperBird is an icon in 'Muscle Car' history; they were the first 'stock' car to hit 200MPH on the NASCAR tracks
It's a familar shape to a lot of you, but with its Dodge cousins 'facial' alterations; General Lee anyone?? (& minus the wing)
-
Kinell just looked at it again and noticed the price. I still think it will get stuck on the ruts though.

'Perfect'/Concours Muscle always fetches big bucks
I remember seeing a 'Plum Crazy' (purple) 1970 Dodge Challenger convertible (a Hemi!), being on auction at about $1,000,000.
Think the hammer dropped at over that!

Now we know you're joking!
I was out earlier & saw 2 'muscle cars' on the same street (so must be same owner?)
A reddy-orange 1972(?) Charger & a 68(?) GTO in matt-black
Got piccy of the Dodge, but not the 'Goat' - it was blocked by other cars, but... I will return
-

defo not my taste in vehicles, that and anything similar from that era from the USA, not my thing at all and I never like the general-lee or starsky and hutch thing either. I liked the some of the 30's, 40's early 50's US cars and trucks with their flowing style.

its "the king" car in the pixar film "cars"
looks quite scary and imagine that beast revving its guts out on the red light next to some saxo with a clearasil candidate :afro:

Mindst you, our XKR sounds fairly decent, but could still do better with 'louder pipes'

What an incredible noise, no wonder the guy's got a huge grin on his face.
John Milners Deuce never sounded like that in 'American Grafitti'
