Title: Basic wiring for a 1987 3.5V8

Hi,

I'm in the process of building a Range Rover/Series 3 hybrid and am now at the wiring stage. I have the necessary loom from the Rangie but it has soooooo much unnecessary crap on it I would prefer to start from scratch.
I am looking for a company that would supply a wiring loom sufficient to let me run the engine (so including battery terminals, starter,ignition switch, fuel pump, thermostat,coil etc) without all of the crap (electric windows, lights etc).
Has anyone done anything similar or can recommend a company which could help me? While I am happy to do the lights etc myself i would prefer a professional job to improve reliability.
Auto sparks don't have a kit for my year of Rangie, which is a 1987 3.5V8 EFi.

I don't know of anyone making looms specific to land rover hybrids. There are a few that make universal looms for kit cars, though I'm making my own loom for a sports car, sourcing the multi coloured wires from old looms (I have a few donor looms) and using universal fuse boxes etc. That way it can be exactly what I want and made to measure.

You could always split up the RRC loom and remove the excess, though it will probably be the least neat solution. Thats what I will probably do when I get round to making a challenge truck out of a spare RRC

IIRC most of the wiring loom connects at one point just by your left foot, the EFi system then runs out into the engine bay from there.
