what is a sensible price for a td5? been looking at a few locally and the prices range hugely, went to a used dealer who had around 10 in stock and for an 02 reg ES premium with 60,000miles he wants around 12.5k same sort of machine on a website for private ads less miles looks a well loked after car bloke wants 7k :? then you find dealers offering them for a wide range of prices so how are you supposed to know what sort of price to look at?

Yes, we are finding the same.
Only trouble is, the ones we have been viewing are not very good, quite tempted to stick with a 300tdi!!! The chassis looks terrible on them, and dont look like they will see another mot!!!
Did see an X reg on ebay and it said on the listing that it needed a new chassis, was very shocked to read this, but after seeing a couple of the same age, it appears that it wasnt that uncommon!!!!
Dont know if anyone else is finding the same??

They seem to be dropping in price.
