well after much searching i,ve gone and bought a disco 2 on an 04 plate  having looked at loads all over the place i chanced upon one in a garage as i was driving about for work and then went for a look, should pick it up at the end of the week. Its a Landmark in a darkish green colour so i,ll post up some pics when i get it

Nice motor, I have liked them from the day they were released, personally they do well off road.
-
Very nice Neal
Now, how much do you want for the rusty ole 300 ;)
:D

Very nice, although I would say that having one myself. Is it Manual or Auto, and if auto did it come with cruise control?
-
Its a Landmark auto, no cruise control but has heated seats leccy sunroofs which personally i dont like as they are bound to cause trouble, and climate control, also has the stereo controls in the back behind the rear seat with a headphone jack socket :D
-
Mine doesn't have the heated seats but there are cables under them presumably so that I can fit them if I wish - where are the switches?.
I fitted the cruise control myself which was very easy, I think the two switches cost £59 and they just plug in and away you go.
The stereo contols behind the seats have been fantastic for the kids, means we can let them plug their headphones in and control their own volume whilst we have it turned right down.
-
That looks nice, I'm a tiny bit jealous, a tiny bit.
Are you keeping it standard?

Yes it's all there. The scariest bit is taking the air bag off the steering wheel - just a couple of Torx screws and leave it 30 mins or so before disconnecting it and there is a little plug you connect to the set switch which moubts on the side of the wheel. The main on off switch replaces the blank plate on the right of the dials, just take the blank plate off and connect the switch.
