When pulling away there is a loud clattering coming from the transfer box area. When moving you can hear metal jingling and crunching in the same area.
All the gears work fine, both props ok and diffs
Whats the best way to check if the transfer box is at fault or the gearbox
Cheers Mark

When your driving along put your hand on the gear stick and the transfer box lever and if theres something vibrating, gringing etc you can feel it. does your clutch feel o.k? have you checked the diffs throughly and inspected the prop uj's ?. have you tried removing a prop and driving in diff lock to see if it gets better? im not an expert im just trying to give you some new lines of thought.

Best way to check Mark is to take it to a Landrover specialist Like Mike !!
