Title: what size tyers are people ?
Post by: spud the king on August 25, 2009, 13:35:17: well got a new truck :dance: a 3 door disco , now cant dicide what size tyers to put on :huh: cos i did have 265,75,16s on my last one on a two inch lift ,
but i dont know what to put on this time, as i am thinking about the insa turbo special track tyers , and dont know what size to go for on a two inch lift :?

has eanyone got some ideas

Post by: Yoshi on August 26, 2009, 11:10:25: the 265's are a damned good choice - much better than the 235/85's, they are about the same height, but the 265's are wider and as such look better :D

Post by: ChrisW70 on August 26, 2009, 14:02:49: 235/85 if using standard 7" rims, 265/75 if using rims with a decent offset or 30mm wheel spacers otherwise they do nothing but catch on the front arms or you lose the turning circle if you addjust the lock stops.

Post by: Steve ray on August 27, 2009, 12:12:00: 2" lift on a Disco + 265/75x16 on say modulars is an excellent choice ............. and yes, you can get the INSA special trak in this size
