What would happen if i put petrol that has 2 stroke oil mixed into it into a 4 stroke generator???

All it will do is smoke a bit more and maybe run not as smooth as it does on clean petrol.

Might need to clean the spark plug when you finished, and yes it will smoke quite a bit  :-k :-k may also make it harder to start??

just ran me mower on 2 stroke, didnt run any different but boy did it smoke . out did the neighbours b,b,q   :evil:

Well i didnt see any smoke, but it was dark!!

I just had about half a gallon left of petrol which i had mixed with 2 stroke (1/500) and so i just topped that container up with clean petrol to dilute it some more!!

Still, its nice to have a genny that works now, god bless HSS!! lol

The oil in the petrol will lower the octane rating so it may run like a sack of s**t, but wont cause any harm.

Excessive oil can leave a buildup of carbon deposits around the rings, but 2 stroke oil is light enough to burn away.

I wouldn't advise doing it by choice though.
