Title: Brake pipes for new axles
Post by: Disco-andy on September 01, 2009, 20:03:34
I have a set of disco axles to fit this weekend, I have some new bushes to fit, A-frame joint looks new. I have a few spare steering joints so that should not cause to many problems .

My worry is the brakes I WILL need some new pipes, can any one tell me if 3/16 copper pipe is the right stuff as it seems to be most available.

Also im thinking most of the end can be reused, but what thread will my 91 200tdi have .......metric fine?

Any thing elce i should worry about?

I would recommend Kunifer (Copper Nickel) pipe rather than pure copper. It is 3/16".

Use plated steel ends. They will be M10 x 1.
