I don't know if someone on hear can help but i'm trying to find out some history of my 1984 90 with no luck, i'm looking for things like spec, colour scheme's and a few other bits about what was available at the time, I've asked my local LR dealership but all the information they can get is basic reg details you get on the V5, they didn't know where it was sold from apart from it was sold straight from the factory, If anyone can shed some other light on where i can obtain more info i would much appreciate it,
Thx Jav.

The chassis number on my Rangie will give you date, colour, gearbox, engine , trim level where it was built etc.
Where it was registered should be tracable by the number plate?
Steve

For a small fee, DVLA can supply copies of previous V5's. Or, at least, they used to. I wonder if the introduction of the Data Protection Act has put a stop to this?
BMIHT can provide production details of earlier Land Rovers. They list up to 1989, but they also only show Series vehicles. But might be worth giving them a call.
