does anybody know which dizzy is in my range rover 3.9efi 90/91 as there seam to be different ones
-
It should be stamped with the numbers if you can clean it and use one of those small mirrors to read it, unless you have already removed it.
I thought all the V8 dizzy were a 35DM8 for the early EFI which had the amp on the side and the later ones 35dlm8, had a remote amp under the coil, which are supposed to be interchangable by altering the wiring to suit the car.
Chuck a pic on and we will see ;)

the 35dm8 has the amp module by the coil, the 35DLM8 has the amp module on the side and is what my 3.9 has, which I think came out of a 1990 motor.

cheers guys i now know which i have now

High compression engines had the DLM8, low compression engine might have had the dm-8 with remote amplifier, these wereoften export spec models.
