Title: switch/sensor thingie on the disco LT230 box
Post by: Saffy on September 22, 2009, 12:15:16
Swapping the LT230 in my defender for a disco box. Curious as to what the switch/sensor is fitted to the passenger side of the transfer box is for (not the difflock switch). My defender one hasn't got it fitted (plugged) though I noticed a couple of unused spade terminals in the defenders loom in the transmission tunnel.

wassit ?  cheers.

If it is fittedf to the passenger side rear it is the reverse light switch mate.

Ah, sorry it may not be then, my fault for skim reading the post! If it is on the transfer box the only thing I can think of is difflock, but as it is on the passenger side, it can't be.

I think I found it on microcat

PRC7984 - Transfer Box Temperature Sensor

is that not standard fitting to disco LT230's ?  :-k
