I bought a Scorpion prop for a +2 lift a few years ago.
My vehicle has developed a squeek which is in time with road speed. The faster I go, the faster the squeek.
The gearbox is an R380 (salvaged from a Disco)
While trying to fault find I removed the front prop, only to find that it had locked out (no articulation), which was resolved by undoing the middle grease nipple, which released a lot of pressure.
With the front prop removed, I took it for a spin and noticed that although the squeek was still present, it was greatly reduced.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Take it you drove around in diff lock, because that aint good! Grease both props and try again. If its still there try looking at sumit else!

Just a quick drive around the block, prop now back on and will test in the morning.
I do suspect I am having issues with the gearbox. Maybe a bearing is on its way out!

Gear box or transfer box wont sqeak, you might get a noise from the output flanges if the seal is dry for example. The sqeak is going to be an external sound.

I think youll find it a failing or dry wheel bearing makeing the noise.
