Title: disco speedo wayyy out

my disco 1 speedo is way out since i swapped the box out of another working one.
the problem is it reads 0mph when im actually doing 30mph and 25mph when im going 50ish.

basically it works out that its reading half the speed im actually doing.

i had a brand new cable, and another set of clocks so ive changed both but it still doesnt work right, same problem with both.
everything is connected as it should be if its just locate the end and away you go.

anyone come across this before?

have you changed the speedo drive in the box

nah i havent changed that tbh. it was all working then was simply pulled out and dropped straight back into the other disco. is this part something that can simply be changed? or repaired?
