Title: Freeing a stuck difflock lever
Post by: piggysteve on October 10, 2009, 18:00:27: Got the missus a nice 300 but the difflock lever is stuck. I've got high and low box now after a lot of lubrication and waggling but whats the best way of freeing it up so I can get difflock.

Post by: Disco-Ron on October 13, 2009, 23:23:57: You need to remove the gear lever surround etc.. and access the top of the gearbox...... the difflock lever mechanism will be siezed.....when i did mine, i removed it and did it in a vice, gently tapping it one way and the other...... and wd-ing it at the same time... be careful, as the ally casting isn't that beefy..... and the steel shaft is whats stuck...... enjoy...
