Hi....

just having to replace the track rod ends on Kirstys Disco a 95 300tdi... What do I need???

A big hammer.Don't waste your money on a splitter,three good whacks with a good sized hammer on the steel where they bolt to the arms.

I should have said.... removing them not a prob.....;)..... is it two righthand or one of each that I need....

If it's got the adjuster on the o/s, 2 r/h threaded. If not and its the straight tube, one of each l/h and r/h.

if your doing all four its 3 standard and one left hand thread. I found out the hard way, the extra LH is still in the garage...

take the track rod of completley and put it in a vice if you can. put a ring spaner over the thread of the track rod end and give it loads of wd and maybe a bit of heat and you shud be able to twist them out. when you get the new ones take of the ruber and pack it with greas and stick it back on
