Title: Bio Diesel, Can I run my 2.5 DSE range rover on it??

I have a 1997 DSE 2.5 BMW engined Range Rover. Can I run it on Bio Diesel an will i have to do anything or will it cause problems?

A mate of mine tried running a 2.5 DSE on it and it knacked 2 fuel pumps (on two occasions)in the tank.It cost more to replace the two pumps than he could save using Dino juice.

I know to many people who have used this bio diesel. They have found that the performance drops.  :'(
