After many months of stripping down the old Rangie, it finally went to the scrap yard today courtesy of some local tatters.
Had to use my tirfor to get it on the back of the truck though, not sure how the police would have viewed this load, however that's down to the guys who collected it!

So for the first time in about 10 years, I currently don't own a 4x4. However, I think my new VW campervan project will provide me with more than enough challenges!
Big thanks to ChrisW70 and JimP for the loan of a couple of wheels and an engine hoist - couldn't have got this far without them.

There are at least a couple of 2WD T3's that have been "syncro'd", there is some details on the Brickyard forum. The downside is you need to have a donor syncro to get all the running gear and subframes from, and if thats good enough to use its probubly a usable syncro in the first place. They are definately worth having tough, more of a jaw dropper than a head turner as no one expects them.
