For me it was a pair of Disco speakers for a quid. Got them home, both had holes in the cones.

Don't think I've actually bought anything useless as such, I did buy a full set of rubber XS side trims for the disco for a fiver a couple of years back and they're still sitting in the garage somewhere
-
Your garage must be an Aladins Cave of Discovery parts Chris
-
That and the trailer tent - but that's coming out this weekend for an airing ready for Towcester :D
Going to try and empty the garage out so one of the neighbours can use it (and I can get the money back the Council rips me off for  )
Getting back on topic... I also bought a 300 Disco instrument surround for 2 quid which sat on the shelf in the downstairs loo for about 12 months before being banished to the porch cupboard where it still remains
-
I bought a really useful cubby box and ran over it within a week before Id fitted it. Not sure that counts but I was pretty p****d off
-
Actually (as my brother has just kindly informed me) I bought a 24 spine discovery diff for £65 at sod.
Got it home to put in my hybrid and the dam thing had only 3 holes in the prop flange
Sold it on ebay for £85 :D
Still cant belive I was that stupid......
-
I bought a pair a Range Rover head light guards (hoping they might just fit onto my disco, they did'nt) for £10
I sold them on ebay 3 weeks later for £35!!!
So i did'nt feel that bad after all.
He he :D

Just done that with a hard hat. Good job no-one was wearing it (depending on your view point)
