Title: Cheapest place for tyres?
Post by: ed1 on October 25, 2009, 20:25:15
Hi, I'm looking for a new set of tyres for my Defender, either BFGoodrich or Hankook, has anyone got any recommendations for the cheapest place to buy them. Thanks.

Either look in the monthly landrover magazines, look in the for sale section or give cradddocks a ring always found them good  value

Well I got the best price from the internet sites suggested then went along to my local tyre place and they matched it!  I went for the General Grabber A/T2, so far very impressed!!

I've had AT/2's on my road disco for the last 2 years with no problems, Just felt a bit wierd after normal road tyres but soon got used to them, not quite so much grip in the wet as the goodyears which came off, but not suprising really, as the are a blockier tyre.

I had them put on with the white writing to the inside
