im lookin into a range rover classic on a k plate with a 2.8 isuzu diesel in in can u tell me the good point on them and the bad more the bad and what to look for when im goin to look at it properley and where to look

Its all the normal places check
Inner wings
Sills (inner and outer)
open rear doors and check top of wheel arch
rear seat belt mounts (on the rear wheelarchs)
rear boot floor and rear body cross member

Swivels, tired springs, poor fitting engine conversions, wrong/lazy gearbox, RUST RUST RUST ;)

its in sutton from a mate of mine that i get most of my bits from and from what ive seen of it the engine bin fitted by a gfarage as it looks spot on there is a bi tof rust but not to bothered as pretty handy with welder and it on a auto box and dont think the head linin sagging either and it still moted which is a bonus

The rust tends to be worst in the bit between the bumpers. Also look for worn bushes in the suspension, inapropriate spring ratios and inadequate or over-cooling with it being a conversion.

al the usual landrover bits then ust waitin to get rid of the car so hopefully it will go this time
