Title: Defender CSW sunroof
Post by: Saffy on November 11, 2009, 15:29:46
sunroof glass panel (AWR3323) seems to have bowed greatly upward in middle where the handle mechanism is so no longer seals tight. Doesn't help the handle mechanism (STC982) gives way before fully tightening. Currently all sealed up with duck tape.

Any easy fix?   How to get the handle/locking mechanism off so maybe that can be fixed/replaced?

Wouldn't mind a single fixed panel being up there, wondering if a automotive glass fitter can cut me a panel and fit with normal window seal.

My defender sunroof is curved in shape and doesn't leak.

maybe I should buy a new catch then it might pull it down onto seal properly.
