Title: Warning light on discovery 1 -what does it mean??

Just had a red warning light come on and i'm not sure what it is.

Its just above the fuel level indicator on the right and it's in the shape of a land rover with what looks like a key symbol inside it.

Any ideas what it is?

hmmm i just checked my user manual (300 TDI) and cant see a warning light like that. according to this i only have Glow plug, diff lock, battery and seat belts above the fuel level indicator???

Thanks for having a look for me.
 It came on while driving but does not stay on permenantly.Some times it flickers on, sometimes it is dimly lit and sometimes it stays on for longer. What colour is the dif lock light (only got the disco a couple of days ago and havn;t really had chance to try diff locks).

the diff lock light is orange, its looks like two axels

Just spoke to a freind of mine and apparently it is the immobilizer light :huh:

No idea why it is coming on while driving though?

I did move the switch for my electric fan today so i may have knocked a loose wire of something? Will investigate further tomorrow when its light.

mine kept comming on then i had it stop once but replaced the battery in the remote and it never happened again dont no if it is linked or luck lol
