Isn't the now traditional image of Santa dressed in red actually a Coca-Cola Marketing thing? And before this it was either blue or green?

He is real I saw him at the Merry Hill shopping center last year and the year before that as well :dance:

Green before, red is coke. Unfortunately not an urban legend.

I'm given to understand that he was seen in red before Coke started using him in adverts. They may have popularised the red outfit, but I've seen drawings dating from pre-Coke times showing Santa in red.

Yeah I Wiki'd it too :lol: Seems there had been some red outfits before hand but it was the popularity ofCoke-Cola's advertising campaign through the 1930's that seems to of standrdised him to the one we know nowadays.
