'Small Childs' 4th birthday today.
Joy of joys!!, a house full of 3 & 4 year old children (17 of them)
Why, oh why wasn't I at work??
We hired in a face-painter to keep them amused & let them all loose in the playroom & family room, so we could keep the front & back parlours clean (well, until feeding-time when they all went into the back parlour)
SWMBO & the mother-in-law had had a go at decorating a cake, it drews "Oohs!" from the kids, & admiration (& cash offers to recreate it from some mothers  )
Still, what do you think?, I reckon they did a top job on it.
It tasted fine as well

he he he, nice cake, this was one we had made for our big kid on his 18th last year... if you look at the website below you might just recognise the original.....
-

Thanks, she was quite happy.
She got a telling off for sneaking into the front parlour where all the presents the other kids had brought for her had been put.
The little 'so-and-so' opened about 10 of them before we realised, now we don't know who's sent what for the 'thankyou letters'
Might have to make some embarrassing enquiries.

That's very nice, but you ought to have splashed some brown food colouring on it to represent mud.

No, but I do talk to a 'Peer Of The Realm' occasionally (ie; a Lord)
My sister-in-law is a very good friend of that 'bird on the boat' - Jayne McDonald (sorry, I know that's not a good thing to say. I feel unclean)
We used to go to a pub for meals owned by an ex-England rugby player.

Fat chance, I got a piece about the size of a matchbox!

Neither have I
Loula;
Guess who tidied up after the little monsters, so it would have been easier at work with our 'customers'

BTM,
I know you don't really mean that :(vamp):

Is that all you have left?
Drank it all have we
-
Had a couple of glasses last night (only 2, but they are quite big ones!) and passed out on the setee before 9pm, I think. Not totally sure on the time!
I don't drink much, so one glass is normally enough to make me merry! :D

Another party this afternoon for 'small-child'
Family & friends today.
A little one with only 9 kids today.
Started at 15:00, her cousin is still here & they're both running about screaming like demons
Still, at least she should sleep tonight & hopefully not get up before 08:30 tomorrow.
Spent a while trying to talk the brother-in-law into selling his Samurai (http://community.webshots.com/photo/96564302/173604793QvtEzr) & buying my Discovery seeing as he's supposedly a responsible adult with a 3year old & a forthcoming marriage.
