HI GUYS NEW BOY HERE. GOT A LOVELY DISCO1 300TDI DRIVES LIKE A DREAM NO ENGINE DRAMAS YET. DO HOWEVER HAVE A RUSTED REAR WHEEL ARCH INNER AND OUTER AND BOOT FLOOR BOTH CURRENTLY REPAIRED WITH SOME GOOD OLD FIBRE GLASS. THIS CANT LAST FOREVER SO GUESS GUNA NEED BOTH THEM WELDED OR REPAIRED .ANY IDEAS HOW MUCH THIS IS LIKELY TO COST ME AND RECOMMEND A PLACE TO GET IT DONE EITHER NEAR EDINBURGH OR IN DEVON.THANKS GUYS. :?

you are in luck! i am cutting out some wheel arches tomorow. i belive there rust free. make me an offer on them and there yours
-
Any welder worth their salt will be able to repair it for you, the longest part is the stripping out and prepping ready for the welding, so do that yourself and save a packet.
Once it is prepped its a few hours at most to weld it up.
The main floor is available in many places including Paddocks and YRM solutions, the rear wings I believe will have to be fabricated, so an offer like Boss's makes sense. It does depend how bad they are mind, I was able to patch mine satisfactoraly.

Hi Boss
I'd be interested in the passenger side one if it was available.
Would you be willing to post ?
Rob

cut them out today, both rust free from what i saw but i still got to check them over properly.
posting is doable. made the offer to LORRY first but if he/she doesn't want them then there yours :afro:
not after much for them but enough to make up the time that was taken out of my day removing them neatly instead of the standard removal technique
