You'd need a tracked vehicle licence wouldn't you?

Totally depends on categories on your licence?

If you passed your test between 1976 and 1986 then you should have category H on your licence, that is for tracked vehicles!

Steel tracks are illegal on the highway. Can't see why a rubber tracked 4x4 would be a problem as long as insurance, licence...

Aren't they about 10K a set though?  Why not just buy a tank or hagland and have some real fun ;)

"tracked" vehicles are classed as those steered by their tracks, so a half-track for example is just a truck.  A WWII half-track though is a historic millitary vehicle and can be driven on a car licence.

You will be fine, if you have 4 indivudial tracks then the vehicle is controlled by the steering wheel and therefore you dont need the special tracked vehicle part of your licence.
