Title: Disco TD5 Crank Sensor
Post by: Discotel on December 23, 2009, 14:15:26
Hi,

As a follow on from my last topic (Fuel pump)...I have now been told by the AA, that it is my crank sensor that is the problem...The new fuel pump is sparying fuel up, but when he plugged his gadget into the disco it did not pick up any engine speed when he turned it over...Does this sound right to you guys as the problem as I have now bought a fuel pump I probably did not need.

Regards, Terry

Good News....IT LIVES....I took it to my mate at his garage and he changed the sensor for me...After purging the fuel system it fired up and is running sweet again....Well for now at least... :D...

Thanks to everyone for there input on this saga.

Have a nice christmas.

Terry
