Hello one and all, I am rebuilding my truck and I have just bought new steering rods etc and an adjustable panhard rod, now my question is,
What is the distance between the grease nipples on the main steering link and what is the length, distance of the bar between the steering box and the hub?
Also what is the length needed for the pan hard rod with a 2" lift?
Thanks in advance everyone.
Andi
(I'm just going out side to fit my corrected radius arms so I'll be back in an hour or so :)

They may not all be the same on different land rovers.
It is simple to set up the track rod using a piece of string to measure the distance between the front and rear of the front wheels......this can be altered by adjusting the track rod to make the wheels point forward..... distance between the front wheels needs to be the same at the front and the back.
As for the drag link, i cant remember off the top of my head how to get that accurate, id suggest going to ATS or somewhere like that.
The panhard rod should be adjusted to locate the axle centrally inline with the chassis, this once again is just a case of measuring and adjusting, although in reality, a standard panhard rod wont make much if any affect if there is only a 2" lift on the vehicel, it is normally only needed to be adjusted on 4" plus
Hope that helps

I would say set your tracking and centralise your steering,ie 4.5 turns left and 4.5 right, find the middle ,level your steering by removing , JOB DONE!
