Title: Radiator plug

Hi folks, while topping up the coolant i have snapped the radiator top plug/bung thingi . I can proberbly get a replacement next week , but need to use the landie any suggestions of a temperary fix ?????

1/2" BSP blanking plug and a rubber o ring from a plumbers merchant.

Go to a plumber merchants and you will be able to get brass replacements.At less than £2 for two you can replace the one on the thermostat housing as well! I will post a pic of mine in the morning.You can tighten them up with a proper spanner or socket.

Those plastic things only cost a quid,get what you pay for! The old rangy brass ones dont shap or round off so last for ever,bargain at £3.
