Title: TD5 Alternator top tip
Post by: burgerman on December 30, 2009, 18:31:36
Just found out that if the fuse for the brake light blows the alternater stops charging, therefore many would then go out n buy a very expensive replacement that nots needed,

Sadly mine was not the fuse and had to cough up for a new one today  :'(

Only landrover cold have dreampt that one up aye

are you sure it isnt just a co-incidence
i pulled the fuses out of both my comp truck ( later 15p engine ) and road 90 ( 10p ) and still got 14.4v from both  :?
