Title: Heater problems

My heater has packed in today, fuse hasnt gone? still has small amount blowing through on 1 put dosent chance from 1 - 4 any help will be much appreciated thanks

i would be tempted to say has the switch gone?  if its not that then i would say the speed controler on the motor?

If it's the 300 TDi then the switches are poo.

yea the slidy thing on the bottom right of the heater control pannel  on the td5 it goes 01234

sorry full pannel can be bought on ebay for not alot of money

On my LSE I think it goes 01234 but unless you have the airconn switched on it will always run even if switched off :-k

it may well be 01234, i will have a look for the panel, is there a way of checking if it is that apart from the obvious buying a new panel? cheers

there will be a way of poking inside the conector with a piece of wire but your guess would be as good as mine on which ones to jump across
on ebay with it being the basic pannel they only go for about 15 quid
and with the fan workin i would say pritty sure its that its the pannel
