Post by: discosfa on January 04, 2010, 22:52:01
hi   :)
i know this has been asked before but i have a 1995 standard disco with 235/70/16 at the moment will 245/70/16 fit with out mods cuts etc ,
sorry only just spotted the tyre fitting guide at the top of this page.
can someone tell me what a 2% increase in speedo will read over normal or should i not worry

                                                          thanks Roy

I run mine on 245-75-16 and the speed and speedo reading are accurate with a satnav on all of the speed range

i have 265/75/16's on and the speedo reads around 5mph faster than the sat nav at 50mph..... so it reads 10% faster than the actual speed according to the sat nav.

it feels great to be doin nearly 80mph!!!!
