Post by: propes on January 11, 2010, 00:25:58

Ouch thats not good hope no one was hert Karlo. I would have thought you would get a refund even after the time as it looks an definite manufacture fault.

Keep us posted to what they say. How companies handle these things make all the difference.
I would say give them a chance to sort it.

No mate not good, luckily it went when we had the snow so I was only doing very very low speed, I dread to imagine what would have happened if I was doing 60mph on a motorway or somewhere similar.

I have spoke to the manufacturer on their site's Live chatbox funnily enough this morning to point out this fault. I am also led to believe that the manufacturer is a member on here so if he wishes to make a statement then he is free to do so.

My opinion, If anyone does have a set of these arms they should get them welded around where the pin goes into the front of the arm A.S.A.P for safety reasons

I spoke to him about the welding a couple of years ago when I bought mine. I had the welds all ground down and redone. Also had the angle continuously welded. It was less than useless as it was. I would hope the product was improved. He certainly took on board what I was saying.

Unfortunately he seemed more interested in the fact that I had put that picture up when I spoke to him.

Two years ago i would say that's long enough to get it sorted. This reminds me of a safety problem with a certain tyre company that jas had a bit ago they did not see that coming.
Be real careful what your buy for your trucks guys

I measured all the arms, the Adrenelin and OE are the same length, the Tarantula ones are 20mm (3/4") shorter

Those Adrenalin ones look well made.  Persoanlly I can recomend the Gwenn Lewis ones, I've had mine a while and given them some grief.
