Title: which bits will still be sell-able?

gonna swap out the seized 200tdi for a secondhand engine, but once thats done which bits will be sell-able? lets assume i get a complete engine with turbo etc. :huh:

All the ancillaries, so starter motor, PAS pump, alternator and also the turbo

what about engine parts??? head etc? or reconning it and selling it as a whole?

head, injectors, pump and manifolds too

IMHO Not worth doing re-con if seized cost of skim, gaskets, rings, shells rebore? regrind? will leave very little for your labour if selling on without guaruntee

I'd keep most bits a spares
