Title: Internet explorer users (that blue 'e' which get's you on the internet)
Post by: dxmedia on January 18, 2010, 15:53:44
France and Germany have both recommended that people stop using it due to a massive security flaw.

Please try using one of the following until microsoft release a fix.

Google Chrome (http://www.google.com/chrome)

Firefox (http://www.getfirefox.com/)

Opera (http://www.opera.com/)

To be honest, the above 3 browsers are better than internet explorer anyway ;)

This virtual war that the Chinese is Communist government (they deny even having a IT Department) has been waging against the West's IT military and industrial infrastructure for many years now and so little is said about it - yet we still trade with them and the media act all lovey dovey. But then again it's been a free for all to exploit gov.cn servers and network devices because they have embedded dissidents willing to risk their lives and open holes for us to bring them down.

Chinese spies are a reality in our country so much so that it used to be case (maybe still is) that anyone involved in a hacktivism project to suddenly get a Chinese ghost friend, check under your beds  :-# 8-[

The other thing I love about Firefox is the option to customise it. I have Adblock Plus (blocks adverts, so no annoying animated nonsense clogging up my bandwidth) and Youtube Comment Snob. The latter basically deals with all of the 13 year old keyboard warriors posting witless comments on videos by hiding comments if, for example, they lack punctuation or are typed entirely in upper case.
