It looks like I'm going to need to swap the autobox on my TD5, has anyone done this before, is there anything in particular I should be looking out for when doing the job. Is it 'relatively' straight forward - bolt out, bolt back in.. (the Disco does have a 2" body lift, so it does make the bellhousing bolts easier to get to) Also next to the XYZ switch, there are two 'spare' cables coming out of the loom, anyone know what these should be attached to, they're just hanging there..
Lastly... anyone know where I could find a good used auto box..

you will have the usual stuff like prop shafts, hand break cable, transfer box linkage, main gear box linkages, startor motor and about 8 - 10 bolts in the bell houseing but with it being a auto you have to unbolt the tourque converter from the flex plate to do this you get to the nuts through the startor motor hole in the bell houseing i think there are 3 on the td5
now when refitting fit the tourque converter to the gearbox first because in that auto box with it locking up there are some flats that it needs to line up as well as the usual splins if you force them together you break the pump in the gear box then its huntin for another gearbox
it should be easer to do with you having a 2inch lift but the gear box will be very heavy you will need a few mates over to give you a lift with it

The torque converter is not a clutch and needs to come out attached to the gearbox and be replaced in the same manner.
