After my recent success at making a bracket for my Cruise control switch im getting cocky SO I'm thinking i NEED a suspension lift for a disco 2. Anyone done it? What kit did you use? Spacers or Springs? How much can i expect to pay.
After saying i want a lift is a suspension lift the best way to go? I really want to keep my original bumper so im thinking if i lift the suspension by about 2 inches and stick larger tyres than i was originally thinking(which i was changing anyway) it would give me the clearance i need. What do ya think??

with lifting the supension even 2 inch im sure you need longer break lines i think the abs wires will need making longer then theres the subject of castor corectionarms at a 2 inch lift you need 3 deg of castor corection now this can either be done with arms or the cheaper way is to do it with off set bushs but some eople dont change this and find the handleing ok and some say its no different the choice is urs id say to lift it and do a good job ur lookin at about 300 for springs and shocks about 60 quid for break lines and 100 ish for bushs or about 300 for arms so its not cheap but it will keep ur bumper 2inchs further away
stick a winch and winch bumper on it and sell ur bumper while its good on fleabay

2" lift, big ish arch chop, 30mm spacers 34" jungle trekkers. no castor corection, no extended brake lines, NO PROBLEMS
he does want to fit the extended brake lines but more for pedal response
its got +2" old man emu HD springs and +2" old man emu dampers. works brilliantly. we had some scrapiron racing springs on there but they sagged within 2 months.
old man emu is definatly the way to go. after 2-3 years there are no problems.
