My copy’s of ‘Brats’ Africa by road and Sahara Overland ‘by Chris Scott’ turned up this week, what a brilliant read these are for anyone planning a overland trip. Full of loads of useful info and tips. (Reading bits while I should be working  ) some of the tips are good even for normal eveyday break downs.
Only down side is putting prices next to the equipment lists at the back is starting to get a bit on the high side. Oh well one year I will do it
Btw ama*on do a good deal on buying both together.

just seen both books on amazon
one for a tenner another for just over 12 quid
looks like good reads but are they more like a planning book or does it have a story too? (im referring to both books before i buy)

Thanks. I've added them to my Wish List. Which means nobody will buy them for me so I'll buy them myself :)
