UNF, UNC, Metric, Metric fine, BA, BSF....
Wouldn't life be much easier if there was ONE standard for bolts and threads.
Anyway. H reg Discovery 200tdi. Rear caliper bolts, the ones that bolt the caliper to the axle case. What thread? I reckon either 7/16" UNF or 10*1.25 mm. What length?
I've already got one snapped bolt and the others are a little too tight for comfort so they need replacing soon as. Trouble is, I need to know what bolts to buy and what size tap to clean the threads.

go to ur landy dealer or parts suplier & ask for the rear caliper fixing bolts,
-
That's the trouble, my local Stealer isn't local, and I can't ever get there when they're open. I can't find the bolts on any of the online suppliers.
-
Not much help but something like M10x1.25 pitch and about 40mm long from what I remember - I'd imagine they're high tensile bolts too if you're going to try and get them from a fixings supplier.

I had one of my rear calipers changed for the MOT, the mechanic also mentioned that he had problems with the bolts, they had seized up and were a right pig to remove.
I'll give him a call tomorrow and see if I can find out

EPC lists two types of bolts one m12x35 which i believe is for 300 series up and another it just labels UNF but wwith a part number of 591065
