Post by: ginge on February 03, 2010, 20:41:48
Hi folks, just a quick one the get a few results, when i travel on the motorway longer than say 30 mins the gearbox becomes very stiff and i can struggle to get a gear. Going to try a different oil any ideas ? Its a lt77 box and its running on the correct oil (haynes) at the mo.

Sounds like the wrong oil or contaminated oil?

When you say it has the correct oil, what oil is it?

ATF is the correct oil for the LT77 although some use MTF94 as that is whats recommended for the R380

There is obviously something else wrong there?

The other option is to go for the Difflock Evo stuff.
