Did the cam belt and tensioners on the disco this weekend. Since that was done shes run a bit lumpy and blowing out smoke, a quick rev and a 30 second blat down the road and shes good.
Can you check the IP timing through that plate on the timing cover or is it an all off job again?

winde engine over to tdc on no 1 and whip the cover off the pump cover
see if you can fit the locking pin in or not
the only thing u cannot check is the cam timing.
if the pump is slightly out you can alter it with the 3 locking pins.

there is a small amount of ajustment on the pump behind the round cover it can be advanced and retarded i did mine at week end and started it up before i put it all back together but i have done several :D
