Anyone else been getting/noticed that recently letters with normal stamps on have not been franked? I have had quite a few now over last week or so, not all but a good enough number to be unusual. The stamp *could* even be reused other times the postman has scribbled a line on it (which means it still can be reused - especially worth effort if it's a £1.00 one ).
Wondering if they are under pressure to clear mail that sometimes they do not even bother to put through franking machine.

The new stamps don;t need franking, as they can't be peeled off and reused anyway...!

yes they can be pealed of easy, an old work collegue of mine used to, when sending SAE envolopes he used to rub the stamp with candle wax, so the franking doesnt stick to it :D
