Title: usb hardware not working

hello
i hate technollogy :evil:
ive installed a new printer/vinyl cutter, been using it for a few weeks now, come to use it today and it just didnt seem to work ( im on vista ) i went into device manager to check and it has a yellow triangle next to it with a exclaimation mark?
any help appriciated as i need to print a set of vinyls :evil:

We've been having this trouble with a laser printer on Windows 7. Every now and then, it'll just drop the association. We have reinstalled the drivers and it works for a while, then drops it again. Rebooting, restarting the printer, etc fails to make any difference.

Are you using the same USB port every time? Vista seemed to be a bit twitchy about this.

Try removing the USB root hub and reinstall all your USB devices. It's a PITA but should work. Windows 7 aint as good as the hype going by the issues coming out :(

Try "system restore" a couple of days back, usually works on most problems.

no idea what was wrong,
called a mate round he pressed a few things and it fired into life,
STRANGE
i think you may be right about the changing usb thingy
