Does any one have a CD changer that fits under the passenger seat of a L reg disco. Or where could i get one from
-
what make is the head unit?
i had mine mounted in the dickie seat position in the rear (with only having 6 not 7 seats i had a gap of sorts)
the installer said when i go offroad the changer wont get damaged cos it will be higher off the floor
how considerate!

I have a standard 6-CD LR one (not sure of model no as it's not here!), but it requires - as far as I know - a standard LR radio/cassette to connect to.
If you're interested, let me know.

I'm going to remove the Land Rover stereo and multi changer from my 1996 ES soon. Get in touch and make an offer!

I've got the JVC one from Halfrauds that's now £130 and the changer goes under the seat like a sausauge up an alley (room to spare). Very pleased with it.
Added the £50 4-channel amp from Maplins and a second pair of tweeters on the door-tops for a pretty good sound, just stuck for somewhere to put the sub now.

Yes could be interested. Heres a couple of photos of head unit and plug (thats under the passenger seat)
The DIN plug under the seat is a 13pin as well

I saw the JVC in Halfords and thought it looked like a good deal. Do the controls on the dash still operate for the volume and channel search etc?? Or do you lose those in favour of a decent unit??

Going by your sig, it looks like we have the same model :)
I can't say anything about the radio unit as mine had some rubbish radio/cd player. The CD changer is the standard one fitted by LR - as far as I know.
The DIN plug looks the same.
It's with my brother at the moment and I meant to get it back this weekend - but we both forgot  I can get him to check the model number if that's useful?
