Title: td 5 diesel leak

hi i have a diesel leak but cant find where it looks like the rear of the engine .does anyone no the pipe routes as its dark now and need to tackle it first light

apparently theres a fuel pressure release......... could it be coming from there? not too sure where it is  :oops: but if is that its probably normal for it to release a bit of fuel

looked at the valve thingy and thought F that need to be in a calm mood to do that one,went back to bed and beasted the wife instead :lol:

Hi Ray, it's your fuel pressure regulator that will be leaking.

hi Jamie ,it is the fuel regulator but getting to the third bolt is  a pain so i will give it a miss till summer time it wont hurt.How are you ?

its quite a easy job to chage one if you have a few extension bars and a 1/4 socket set took me about a hour

Thanks for the help i will change it when its a bit dryer fed up getting wet under the 90 as the garage is full

If it's anything like mine it will get worse pretty quickly.......... and as a biker can I vote for as early a fix as you can manage?  2 wheels and diesel don't mix well..........

Easy job - ideally a twiddly uj on the socket for that third bolt!  Cheers, A
